About Terrigal Trotters

Terrigal Trotters aims to provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment for those interested in improving their fitness through walking and running.

Our members range in ability from social walkers through occasional joggers to elite athletes.

With more than 200 active members, you are bound to find someone with similar fitness and aspirations to your own.

The Club’s primary activity is a 6:00am run or walk every Saturday morning from the Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club for distances ranging up to 18 kilometres.  Participants are asked to pay $2 each Saturday they attend.

Various groups of members also meet at other times during the week to exercise, and the Club regularly organises other running events for members, on both roads and trails, as well as some social events.

Membership is gained by recording ten Saturday morning runs with the Club from Terrigal.

Training with Terrigal Trotters

Whether you are an experienced runner or a novice preparing for the Sea FM 12km Fun Run or the NBN News Half Marathon it helps to have training partners and access to knowledgeable mentors.

You can find both at Terrigal Trotters, and not only will you get fitter and faster, but you will almost certainly enjoy the experience.

Listed below are some of the regular training runs organised within Terrigal Trotters and you don’t have to be a member to get involved.  Just come along to one of the listed sessions or call Jenny Barker, the President of Terrigal Trotters, on 0420 879270 for more details.
